Artificial Intelligence at TYPSA: a Data-Driven Evolution

At TYPSA, artificial intelligence (AI) isn’t just a technology; it’s a strategic pillar in our transformation to a data-driven company. This approach allows us to make decisions based on data, optimise processes and respond more quickly to the challenges of an increasingly complex environment. The adoption of AI has not only improved operational efficiency, but it has also opened up new opportunities for innovation in key areas such as project management, sustainability and strategic planning. A key moment in this transformation was the internal event “Innovation and Future: Artificial Intelligence at TYPSA”, held in September 2024. This workshop brought together internal experts and technological partners on the possibilities of AI, facilitating the exchange of ideas, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and encouraging cultural change in the company. This event not only marked a milestone in the dissemination of knowledge, but it also connected teams and built trust in AI tools as drivers of change.

Key tools that drive innovation
As part of this strategy, TYPSA has developed and adopted AI-based tools that are transforming the way we operate:

  • LicitQuick has revolutionised the analysis of tender documents, making it easier to extract key requirements and organise large volumes of documentation. Although we are working to make this tool capable of offering more advanced support, such as the generation of technical drafts, it has already demonstrated its ability to optimise the evaluation process. For example, in a recent analysis of international tenders, the time needed to identify key requirements was reduced by 70%, significantly improving efficiency and competitiveness in the bidding process.
  • ADT English Checker is a pioneer GPT agent in TYPSA, which has facilitated the linguistic review of technical documents in English, ensuring compliance with international standards such as those of USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers). In its first six months of operation, it has accumulated more than 800 visits, becoming essential support for technical teams, significantly reducing review times and improving the quality of reports submitted to international clients.
  • Proteo addresses one of TYPSA’s most important challenges: the management of internal project references. Thanks to this tool, teams have quick and orderly access to critical information, improving the quality and accuracy of technical proposals. In recent months, over 100 references have been added to the database through Proteo, streamlining our work and strengthening our capacity to tackle complex projects.

A promising future
TYPSA continues to move towards a model in which artificial intelligence is naturally integrated into all processes, not as a substitute but as an ally which enhances human capacity. Our commitment to the ethical and safe development of these tools ensures that the adoption of AI is always aligned with the company’s values and our clients´ needs. With tools such as LicitQuick, ADT English Checker and Proteo, together with the strategic vision driven by events such as the workshop in September 2024, TYPSA reaffirms its leadership in innovation, offering solutions that transform the engineering industry and contribute to building a more efficient, sustainable and collaborative future.
