Public Consultation no.1 for this project has been launched, showcasing the Emerging Preferred Option and opening the communication channels with the general public and communities along the route to provide feedback and contribute to the ongoing development of the design.
The TYPSA team are proud to be contributing to the delivery of this significant improvement in capacity and sustainability to commuter services between Dublin City Centre and Hazelhatch & Celbridge, in collaboration with our JV partners Atkins and TUC Rail and supported by RPS.
The information is available on this link: https://www.dartplus.ie, running until the 23rd of June.
The upgrade forms part of the DART+ Programme, which aims to improve train frequency and increase customer capacity for Dublin and the surrounding metropolitan area. The JV will develop the project from concept through to Railway Order stage, providing multi-disciplinary consultancy services including project management, preliminary design of the 20 km line upgrade, a thorough public consultation process and preparation of the Railway Order.
TYPSA is delivering the Project Management and Design Management services, as well as the design services for some of the most relevant railway disciplines involved.
