Human Rights

TYPSA, as a Signatory to the United Nations Global Compact and committed to the 10 Principles, ensures compliance with the first six principles addressing respect for human rights:

Principle 1: ‘Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights, within their sphere of influence’

Principle 3: ‘Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.’

Principle 4: ‘Businesses should uphold the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour’

In addition, TYPSA annually confirms its rejection of modern slavery and its respect for equality, diversity and inclusion.

TYPSA’s commitment to human rights extends to its suppliers. The approval system includes a section on human rights compliance in the due diligence and contractors are required to accept TYPSA’s Code of Ethics.
