The Smart Water Summit, held in Madrid this September, is one of the most relevant events on the Water agenda, with a clear focus on innovation and use of new technologies for a better and more efficient management of water resources. Over the course of three days, the key players in this sector gathered, both from the Spanish public administration and from international administrations and entities. Together with the private sector and academia, they carried out a thorough and comprehensive analysis of how the digital transformation of the water cycle is taking place.
The TYPSA Group participated actively in this forum, with the presence of Sara Perales, CEO of Green Blue Management, who brought her vision of how SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) and nature-based solutions are fundamental aspects to consider in the new conception of urban drainage, and Juan Ojeda, director of TYPSA’s Water Engineering Department, who presented the Group’s experience in the field of flooding and digitalisation.
The TYPSA Group continues to develop comprehensive solutions to water problems, combining new technologies with the experience and knowledge acquired, to continue to face the great challenges that integral water management is posing to our society in the context of the global change in which we find ourselves.
