TYPSA and its four consortium partners have been awarded the European Investment Bank (EIB) IPF10 contract. IPF 10 is a multi-sectoral technical assistance instrument for the development of infrastructure in the western Balkan countries, with a budget of EUR 22.7 million over a 4-year period.
The overall objective of the technical assistance operation is to contribute to socio-economic development through the improvement of infrastructure in the countries of the region: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
More specifically, support will be given to prepare and implement priority infrastructure projects in the transport, environment, energy, social and digital economy sectors, financed through a combination of grants, EU and other funds, and through IFI loans, improving cooperation and coordination between financial institutions, beneficiaries, bilateral donors and regional organisations.
It should be noted that TYPSA has been working in the region for more than 15 years providing planning services, technical and economic feasibility studies, design, construction supervision and institutional strengthening in sectors such as roads, railways, transport and mobility, buildings, sanitation and renewable energies, all of which has been of great help in winning this contract.
We are honoured by the trust placed by the EIB in our consortium and hope to be able to continue contributing to the development of infrastructure in the region, increasing the welfare of its people.
